For What Purposes Do We Hold Personal Information?
We hold information which you provide to us for our own administrative, sales, marketing and product / service development purposes.
If you are a prospective tenant, we also use the information provided to find and/or secure a letting for you.
If you are a landlord, your information may be used to enable us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you, depending on the services which we have agreed to provide, including (without limitation):
- for the purposes of locating a property for purchase by you;
- for the purposes of decorating / renovating and furnishing your property;
- in connection with the advertising of your property to, and dealing with enquiries from, prospective tenants;
- for the purposes of obtaining any necessary House in Multiple Occupation licences and registration in the Landlords Register; and
- to enable us to effectively manage your property, such as dealing with utility bills and employing the services of tradespersons to carry out any necessary repairs.
- Holding payment information permits us to process new and repeat orders. Depending on the information which you have provided to us, we may contact you by letter, e-mail, fax, telephone or SMS. If you would rather not be contacted by us, please let us know at the address noted below.
- We use information obtained by us through users visiting this website for our own administrative, sales, marketing and product development purposes..
- Unless you object to us in writing at the time the relevant personal information is collected, you consent to our use of such information as set out in this Privacy Policy.
- Unless we have your prior consent, we shall not sell, rent, trade or share any personal information which we hold except that:
- we may disclose information which is held by us where required to do so by law or in connection with legal proceedings;

- in respect of those individuals who use any of the Sites in order to engage our services which we offer to landlords (including prospective landlords), we may disclose the information that you provide to:-
- the sellers of properties (including, without reservation, their agents or legal representatives);
- to tradepersons, architects, interior designers and other skilled persons;
- to the local authority;
- to the Scottish Executive;
- to the providers of domestic utilities and the providers of other goods or services to your property;
- to tenants, including prospective tenants; and
- to advertising agencies (in connection with the advertising of your property).
Should we wish to use your personal information for a purpose not permitted under this Privacy Policy, we will contact you to seek your consent.
For How Long Do We Hold Personal Information?
We will not hold on to any personal information for any longer than is reasonably necessary for the purposes noted above.
What Procedures Do We Use to Protect Your Privacy?
We undertake to process the personal information which we collect in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws relating to data protection.
We have strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information (although we do not warrant that this is the case) in order to prevent unauthorised access. This means that we may ask for proof of identity before disclosing personal information to you.
